Central Bank of India Sanctions ₹127 Crore in MSME Loans at Delhi Outreach Drive

The Central Bank of India recently organised a large-scale credit outreach initiative to support Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), sanctioning loans worth ₹127 crore in Narela, North Delhi. The event, held at the Shiv Mandir Agarwal Dharamshala in Purani Anaj Mandi, was part of a “Nationwide Mega MSME Credit Outreach Program” aimed at improving access to formal credit for small business owners and local entrepreneurs.

The programme was led by senior officials from the bank’s Delhi South region, including Regional Head Munish Kumar, Deputy General Manager Anil Kumar, and Deputy Regional Head Mandeep Kumar. A large number of MSME customers and representatives from various industrial units participated, receiving loan sanction letters directly from the bank’s Regional Head during the main event.

In addition to the main event, the bank conducted separate credit camps at strategic locations across the Delhi South area through its branch network. These efforts collectively contributed to the total sanction of ₹127 crore in loans for enterprises in the region.

To assist visitors and potential borrowers, the bank also set up customer service desks and facilitation counters, offering guidance on credit products and services. Bank officials noted that this outreach reflects their continued commitment to empowering MSMEs, fostering entrepreneurship and promoting inclusive economic growth through proactive, customer-centric banking initiatives in the national capital.
